Zena Skinner wrote, lectured and broadcasted on cookery and topics both in this country and abroad. This fourth book of recipes contains 100 recipes. There are more meat, pastry and savoury recipes than in previous books by the author and the biscuit section includes some simple recipes which can be undertaken by children. Dishes from other countries include recipes for children from Austria, Denmark and Norway. The author has also included a section on the better known herbs and spices and the ways in which they can be used. The recipes are accompanied by black and white line drawings by Juliet Renny.
