This is a book mostly about the personalities involved in the hobby of model engineering up until the time of it’s writing in the late 1970s, most are no longer with us. It doesn’t give much specific information on anything related to the hobby, but talks in general terms about workshop contents and machinery, models that people have made and the development of model steam railways from the earliest days. All in all, the title says it all really.
