This guide was prepared by the Snowdonia Park Joint Advisory Committee. The book contains a wide range of information about this important and popular National Park including geology of the Park, plant life. fauna of the Park, principal antiquities within the Park, mountaineering, country-going and communications, the people and language, Snowdonia and Meirion. Included in the book is a bibliography and index. This guide book is fully illustrated with black and white photographs, maps and diagrams. The front cover is illustrated with a 19th century engraving from the Hulton Picture Library entitled Bethgelert Bridge.
