This for Anglophiles only. Can’t see a general sale. Virtually, it is a juvenile, for it is the story of a fond uncle who tries to unfold — during the holidays — the glamour and glory of England to his young nieces and nephew. Very very British, with comparatively few obviously familiar facets of England’s past, and depending for the most part on a good grounding in English history to compass the jumps in time and space which he takes. The Drinkwater name will insure some interest.
